People’s Place opened five years ago in Stoke Aldermoor, and in that time it has established itself as a safe and secure meeting place for young people in the local community aged 8-19.

The staff from Coventry and Warwickshire YMCA and Youth Service work to provide a programme of activities throughout the year in order to stimulate and challenge young people in new ways. Members at People’s Place are given the chance to take on responsibilities and gain a sense of achievement.

Through socialising, education, sports or any of the other activities run from People’s Place, young people learn a wealth of new skills, gain experience and confidence in a safe, controlled environment.

With a multi-agency approach People’s Place engages with young people through the following ways:
